40th Anniversary of Return of Sacred Blue Lake
Celebration opening with Mass on September 17th @ 7am at St. Jerome Church in Historic Taos Pueblo; Event continuing throughout weekend. This remembrance and celebration will observe one of the most significant occasions in the history of Taos Pueblo and American Indian People: the Pueblo’s 64-year struggle with the U.S. Government to reclaim religious freedom and protection of sacred land.
