Taos – Return to Sacred Places
September 2010 ~ Explore the numerous art events taking place in Taos this month. Don’t miss our biggest art event of the year, Taos Fall Arts Festival, three prestigious art shows, free to the public (Sept. 24 through Oct. 11). In conjunction with this festival, Taos galleries celebrate with artist receptions and special exhibits. Open studio tours in neighboring villages provide a wonderful reason to take a ride in the country and visit artists in their creative environments. A couple other big events this month are Oktoberfest at Taos Ski Valley and San Geronimo Days at Taos Pueblo. View all September’s events. Click here to find special vacation packages.
In addition to all the festivities above, Taos honors its sacred places throughout 2010 – ancient and new, man-made and natural, inner and outdoor. To learn more about this aspect of Taos and the events planned throughout 2010, go to TaosSacredPlaces.com - and while you’re there enter to win a vacation for two!
