Taos – Return to Sacred Places
Festivals abound in Taos this month! Taos Pueblo Pow Wow (July 9-11) starts it off with a multi-tribal gathering of contemporary American Indian song and dance. Las Fiestas de Taos (July 23-25) is an annual celebration of 400 years of regional New Mexican music, dance, foods, and arts. Traditional Corn Dances will be performed at Taos Pueblo on the Feast Days of Santiago and Santa Ana (July 25-26). Plus, Summer Writer's Conference stirs the written and spoken word to an art form, and Taos School of Music chamber music concerts take place all month long. Join us in Taos this summer.
