Our community offers many events and festivals to mark the end of the year in a joyous way. Taos’ unique traditions include centuries-old Pueblo Indian dances, pathways lit by farolitos and luminarias, posole and chile verde served by a kiva fireplace, caroling on the historic Spanish plaza, and torchlight parades on the ski slopes. Ski and snowboard on the pristine slopes of our four ski resorts – Taos Ski Valley, Red River Ski Area, Angel Fire Resort, and Sipapu Ski Resort. There's terrain for all levels - including the extreme Black Diamond runs Taos Ski Valley is known for.
